I am really proud of how 2025 shaped up for my ultra-running journey.
I kicked the year off with some speed still in the legs, setting a new half-marathon PB of 1:27:20, then followed that up with a 100km PB of 11:57 💥
Mid-year brought two proper adventure races. Both the Isle of Wight and the Swiss Alps were far tougher than I expected — and the Swiss Alps marked my first race lasting over 24 hours, which was a big milestone.
I wrapped up the year with solid performances at the Brighton 50/50 and the Jurassic Coast 100k, strong in different ways and for different reasons.
I’d planned to step up to the 100-mile distance next year, but after a couple of setbacks later in the season, I’ve decided to commit to another mostly-100km year instead — and I’m genuinely excited about that.
